Junior Chef Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Junior Chef to join our team in Launceston.
About the Role
* Duties:
* Prepare ingredients for daily service, adhering to recipes and ensuring delicious and well-balanced meals.
* Follow food safety and work health and safety standards, including HACCP principles and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
* Cook dishes to order, preparing meal components following standardized recipes and participant support plans.
* Maintain stock rotation, storage hazards, and minimize food waste.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified chef in a commercial kitchen.
* Skill Requirements:
* The ability to follow recipes and instructions with excellent attention to detail.
* A strong understanding of food safety, nutrition, and dietary restrictions.
