THE ROLE
Proterra Group are seeking looking for an organised and proactive Finance and Administration Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide coordination and support across finance, human resources and administration operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our organisation.
Position duties include:
• Accounts Payable functions
• Credit card management
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Vendor statement reconciliations
• Providing other financial services support as directed by the Finance Manager
• Handling and directing general enquiries from internal and external stakeholders via the telephone and Administration email inboxes
• Coordination of day-to-day office/site requirements across all Proterra Group locations
• Providing direct administrative assistance to the Human Resources department
• Providing support to the CEO, when requested, for general administrative tasks including records management/reconciliation, document review/update, agenda preparation and minute-taking, and/or corporate services contractor coordination Management of office spaces, equipment and IT services coordination
• Ensuring workplace health and safety standards are met
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this role, it is preferable that you have the following:
* Demonstrated experience in finance and administration
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Working knowledge of finance systems and HR processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
