Job Description
We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to support complex ICT sourcing activities within the government sector.
This role will provide comprehensive administrative support for procurement processes, including panel management, marketplace coordination, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management of panels, marketplaces, and single seller arrangements
* Assist with financial administration, including processing purchase orders, tracking expenditure, and reconciling payments
* Prepare and maintain documentation, such as contract registers, variation letters, and meeting minutes
* Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to ensure compliance with procurement procedures and financial frameworks
* Monitor inboxes, respond to queries, and coordinate team activities to ensure efficient delivery of administrative services
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A sound understanding of Commonwealth procurement processes and WoG ICT sourcing mechanisms
* Experience supporting contract and financial administration in a government context
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and liaise with stakeholders effectively
* High attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial or procurement systems
