Our Client Dhanda Holdings Pty Ltd ATF Dhanda Family Trust is seeking a skilled Engineering Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to support the design, development, and implementation of innovative engineering projects., you will conduct feasibility studies, ensure compliance with Australian standards, and provide on-site support. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of engineering principles, and excellent problem-solving skills. Job Responsibility:

· Apply knowledge of engineering principles to help design, develop and implement practical solutions to technical problems with engineers

Duties:

· Assist engineers and designers with the development and optimisation of plastic products and tooling suited to injection moulding and manufacturing processes.

· Draft and review technical drawings, CAD designs, specifications and moulding instructions for prototypes and final production runs.

· Support the setup, calibration and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including injection moulding machines.

· Conduct on-floor production and quality assessments, collecting data and feedback to improve product performance, consistency, and manufacturability.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, production, packaging and logistics) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

· Perform quality assurance inspections through all production phases to maintain ISO-aligned standards and customer expectations.

· Provide technical support during prototyping, toolmaking, pilot runs and full-scale production, including troubleshooting material, machine or tooling issues.

· Document and report project progress, design changes and production findings clearly and accurately.

· Train and mentor operators and staff on safe operation and maintenance of specialised equipment, and best practices for producing quality moulded parts.

· Stay informed about industry trends, advanced manufacturing technologies, sustainable materials and process innovations relevant to plastics design and injection moulding

Qualification:

· AQF Bachelor or Higher

· At least 3 year's full-time experience in related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
