The Role
As an Allocations team member, you'll be the driving force behind growth and service excellence. This is more than scheduling - it's about matching skilled nurses and carers to critical shifts with precision, speed, and care. You'll be the vital link between our dedicated healthcare professionals and the facilities that depend on them, directly impacting patient care and community wellbeing.
Your decisions will have an immediate, meaningful impact. You'll build strong trust-based relationships with both healthcare workers and facilities, understanding their needs and preferences while maintaining the highest compliance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Work closely within the allocations team to handle calls and rostering requests from healthcare facilities and achieve KPIs.
* Process service requirements and match nurses to client needs with speed and precision.
* Handle urgent requests, cancellations, and last-minute adjustments, professionally.
* Manage feedback constructively and professionally.
* Drive growth in shift bookings through proactive client and member engagement.
* Identify workforce gaps and support pipeline building.
* Ensure compliance with qualifications, registrations, and shift requirements.
* Contribute to best practices across allocation and recruitment.
About you
You're a rostering/allocations/recruiting professional, who thrives on building positive working relationships, navigating challenges with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset to drive service excellence and growth
.
* Self-driven, thrives working independently as well as part of a team, with the ability to manage calls, clients and members in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated ability with workforce planning/rostering, filling shift requests within agreed service levels.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, with experience handling calls and building rapport/positive working relationships.
* Curious, proactive, problem-solving mindset to drive growth in shift bookings.
* Ability to work effectively across allocations, recruitment, marketing to support member readiness and escalate conversion barriers.
* Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver high-quality service within tight timelines.
* Experience with excel, scheduling tools, CRM platforms, job boards will be well regarded.
* Knowledge of healthcare rostering/recruitment systems will be an added advantage.
