We are seeking a skilled Forensic Engineer to join our team in Balcatta.
The ideal candidate will have strong client focus, high level of drive and motivation to provide innovative engineering solutions that meet client requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical advice to clients;
* Perform structural inspections on-site, and prepare technical reports as required;
* Build customer relationships in a professional manner, with a view to generating new business;
* Review the work of other engineers, and provide feedback as necessary;
* Maintain technical expertise through ongoing research and professional development;
* Contribute to the technical development of the division;
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent, together with eligibility for registration as a Certified Practising Engineer;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Leadership skills, particularly in relation to mentoring junior staff;
* High level of initiative and proactivity, especially in creative problem-solving;
* Report writing skills;
* A sound understanding of coaching techniques and Australian Standards.
