Job Overview
The Management Accountant position involves delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support the financial performance of Aveo retirement villages. This includes developing positive relationships with stakeholders such as residents & committees, collaborating with Community Managers to prepare village budgets, annual financial statements, and quarterly financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present quarterly financial statements and ad hoc monthly reports to stakeholders.
* Lead the preparation of Annual Budgets in collaboration with Community Managers, Regional Operations Managers, and Resident Committees.
* Coordinate annual audits ensuring that all deadlines are met for finalizing fi nancial statements within legislated timeframes.
* Leverage data-driven dashboards using PowerBI analytics tools for variance analysis identifying key focus areas.
* Ensure accurate GST coding maintain compliant Balance Sheet reconciliations for allocated communities acting as a primary point of contact for various stakeholders providing accounting administrative support services on site visits aiding in resolving concerns from resident committee members who need clarification assistance related to complex matters requiring coordination efforts between multiple parties during consultations involving senior leadership team members across respective locations worldwide – sometimes remotely through online communication mediums when required geographically distance not being an issue).
