We produce a range of award-winning dairy products including the Riverina Fresh branded milks, creams, and yogurts, and we provide our customers with an extensive Food Services range. We currently have a secure casual position available for a Medium Rigid (MR) Driver - based out of our Mordialloc Food Service distribution facility in Melbourne.
Position and duties
We are looking for a professional, experienced MR Driver with a good driving record to perform multi-drop deliveries of milk, dairy and food service products to cafes, restaurants, clubs and our industrial customers. The successful applicants will be rostered for up to 5 shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm. This is a secure position working with an experienced and friendly team in a busy and dynamic Food Service environment, with an opportunity to progress to full time employment. Overtime opportunities are regularly available.
Key requirements / skills
* Must have a valid heavy vehicle licence (MR or higher)
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely
* Be highly focused on safety, quality, hygiene, delivery and efficiency
* Good customer service and effective communication skills
* Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative
* Sound understanding of COR (Transport Chain of Responsibility)
* Flexibility to work shift work, including some occasional weekend work
* Ability to work overtime
* Ability to work unsupervised, and also as part of a team
* Physical capability to undertake multiple drop deliveries
