About the role…
This Consultant Psychiatrist position is based in Queensland's largest inland city, known as the Garden City due to its beautiful parks, gardens, and annual Carnival of Flowers spring event. The area offers a unique blend of country charm, growing urban coffee culture, great food, festivals, unique crafts, and a flourishing street art scene.
You will be working in a large regional referral hospital offering mental health treatment and care programs via an inpatient mental health unit and community outpatient clinics.
Mental health services teams provide innovative solutions aimed at helping individuals manage their condition, collaborating closely with general practitioners, other service providers, and non-government organisations. A range of services are provided including assessment, referral, counselling, information, case management, dual diagnosis, and group programs.
