Job Title: Contract Administrator
This is a high-level contract administration role that requires ongoing contract management, including the preparation and administration of subcontracts and supply agreements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting contractual correspondence, preparing variation and EOT (Extension of Time) claims, maintaining contract administration registers, job costing, forecasting costs to complete, and producing project cost reports.
* Prepare subcontract documents and administer subcontracts accordingly.
* Evaluate head contract and sub-contract progress claims and approve payment.
* Draft general contractual correspondence and maintain correspondence registers with client/sub-contractors for Variations (VQ), Notices of Delay (NOD), Extensions of Time (EOT) and Technical Queries (TQ).
* Work closely with the Lead Contracts Administrator and the Site-based Contracts Administrator.
* Liaise with the project planners & engineers to quantify any delay/EOT requirement.
* Assist the Project Manager in maintaining and reporting on up-to-date and accurate job costing data in Cheops for Commitments, Head Contracts, and Subcontract Variations.
* Manage job costings, forecasting costs to complete, and producing project cost reports.
* As necessary, liaise with Senior Management and Sub-Contractors for clarification and direction about legal aspects and liabilities.
* Assist in the project closeout.
