Experienced Accountant Role
We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the Private Business & Family Advisory group, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of clients and be part of a collaborative environment.
In this role, you will prepare and deliver complex accounting and taxation engagements, ensuring exceptional client service. You will also be a regular point of contact for your clients, collaborating as part of a team to achieve client success.
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, working towards their CA/CPA qualification, with relevant expertise in a business advisory environment. Key skills include:
* Ability to understand client needs and provide high-level client service
* Experience with preparing GST, FBT and payroll tax returns
* Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and tax compliance, including preparation of financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns and tax effect accounting for companies, trusts and tax consolidated groups
* Proficiency in using common client accounting software packages (i.e., MYOB and Xero) and larger enterprise products
* Well-refined oral and written communication skills
* Comprehensive Microsoft Excel skills and ability to efficiently work with large datasets
