We are currently seeking experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our busy kitchen team.
Chef Positions
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications
* Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations during service
* Monitor stock levels, ordering, and cost control
* Ensure food quality, portion consistency, and presentation standards
* Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff
* Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and HACCP compliance
* Contribute to menu planning and daily specials
Skills & Experience:
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant environment
* Sound knowledge of seafood and Mediterranean cuisine highly regarded
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Excellent communication and ability to perform under pressure
Cook Positions
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and standards
* Ensure dishes are prepared efficiently and presented consistently
* Assist with stock rotation, kitchen cleanliness, and daily prep
* Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
* Work collaboratively with the Chef team during service
Skills & Experience:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
* Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Reliable, punctual, and passionate about food quality
