The role

Job Overview

EML is a leading Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business that supports injured workers. Our goal is to help people regain confidence during their return-to-work journey. We are opening a full‐time, permanent Claims Advisor role in our Tweed Heads office.

As part of the interview process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a face‐to‐face group interview on Tuesday 7th July 2026. The role starts 10th August 2026, and work‐from‐home flexibility (up to three days per week) is available from month three, subject to performance and approval.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and provide support in completing relevant documents to ensure timely access to services that support return to work and injury recovery.
  • Proactively proceed with appropriate case management to achieve the optimum outcome of early sustainable return to work for workers with reasonable claim costs.
  • Ensure that allocated work is actioned within appropriate timeframes.
  • Manage telephone enquiries within EML's guidelines and adhere to the EML's Communication Policy.
  • Collaborate with Injury Management Specialists and other subject‐matter experts to collect information and ensure customers receive expert advice and support.
  • Record and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications / About You

You will show a high level of empathy while being passionate about providing great customer service. You will be a great listener, display excellent communication skills and have a solution‐focused mindset. You will embrace change with confidence and be comfortable in a multi‐system environment while having the ability to handle and overcome challenges. You will have great attention to detail, enjoy learning and growing within the business, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
