Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting the SSE in monitoring and managing compliance with the Qld CMH&S Act and Regulations
Identifying and reporting hazards, inspections, and SAO's to the Byerwen System (R-Sured)
Recording, investigation, and reporting procedures
Demonstrating visible safety leadership
Completing all incident investigations related to the onsite laboratory to identify root causes and adjust work practices accordingly in a timely manner
Ensuring familiarity with, and compliance to, the Environmental Authority (EA) and the Plan of Operations (PoO)
Maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders including employees, contractors, customers, suppliers, government agencies, neighbors, and the community
Managing procurement and freight of parts and services to ensure fixed plant and equipment services are delivered
Qualifications
RII competencies for light vehicle and laboratory equipment S1,2 & 3 G2
Previous experience operating onsite laboratories
Proficiency in MS Office, including basic spreadsheets
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficiency in all aspects of laboratory operations
