Chandler Macleod is seeking two dedicated Plant Operators to support the team at Oakburn, Tamworth.
* $28.79 / hour + 25% casual loading and additional relevant allowances
* Monday - Saturday | Shift: 3pm - 11pm and 7am – 3pm
* Potential for permanency following probation
About the Role
As an Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring trucks are accurately weighed in and out, completing records, and performing Chain of Responsibility (COR) checks
* Overseeing plant operation, plant checks, accurate recording of operational parameters
* Completing general housekeeping of the processing area, including sweeping, vacuuming, foaming and hosing
* Loading and unloading trucks efficiently, as well as filling bulk bags with finished products
* Completing monitoring forms across several areas of operation, and as requested
* Flexibility with working hours is essential, will include some weekend and shift work
* Training paired with a colleague will be provided for the first 3 months
About You
We're looking for a proactive, reliable, and hands-on Operator who is eager to grow their career within a dynamic and expanding organisation. You will bring:
* Full Australian work rights (Permanent Residency or Citizenship)
* A strong commitment to long-term career growth
* A valid forklift license (preferably with experience) or willing to obtain
* Analytical/critical thinking and mechanical mindset
* Intermediate computer skills
* Excellent physical fitness to handle manual tasks
* A dependable work history and reliable transportation
You will also bring a positive, team-focused attitude, and a proactive approach to plant operations. You will be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
