Cut samples, set up tests, run lab work and capture accurate, reliable data.
Design experiments and assist in test-method development with Innovation, Category and Compliance teams.
Coordinate external testing with bodies like CSIRO and NATA labs.
Create prototypes and mock-ups to support new product development.
Prepare customer samples and provide lab-based support to other technical teams.
Write clear reports, comparison summaries and document procedures.
About You
Experience in lab, workshop or testing environments.
Ability to use hand and power tools confidently.
Strong written communication and data recording skills.
A practical mindset and willingness to be hands-on every day.
Technical trade qualification in a construction-related field – not essential.
Experience building or testing building assemblies.
Familiarity with NCC-compliant construction methods – not essential.
Exposure to external testing bodies (CSIRO, NATA labs, universities).
Basic project coordination skills.
