About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the HR Manager ANZ and the geographic HR business partner team for all business areas within Devro. This is a great opportunity to drive the best ways of working, blending good practices with continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive support to the HR Manager and HR global team on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training, Communications and Engagement
* Be the first point of contact for routine HR enquiries, providing accurate and consistent information
* Advise first line managers on best practice
* Manage the administration process in support of all HR activities, policy and procedure.
* Compile reports for figures and stats required by wider business
* Support all processes of the employee life cycle (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, leavers)
* Accurately maintain HR/Training records, ensuring that the company complies with all legislative requirements
* Absence management includes monitoring and engaging with Occupational Health to assist with cases
* Maintain HR and payroll systems ensuring information is up to date and accurate whilst working with payroll deadlines
* Support the HR strategy, contributing to HR project work and ad-hoc tasks as appropriate
About you:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to exercise good judgement
* A team player with a professional and flexible approach to work
* Innovative thinking with a passion to make a difference within the HR team and wider business
* A solid understanding of current employment law and HR best practice
* Further/higher education in human resources or business discipline, with some previous experience in HR role
* Experience working within a manufacturing organisation would be advantageous
* Working knowledge of Industrial Relations, Employee Relations and Payroll
