About the role
As a Senior Project Manager you will lead the delivery of high-impact initiatives that underpin TAC's Make Every Day Matter Strategy.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering complex business transformation initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders and program sponsors, you will translate strategic intent into disciplined delivery, ensuring clear governance, strong stakeholder engagement and accountability for outcomes.
This is not a technical IT project management role. We are seeking experienced business transformation Project Managers who are comfortable sitting with sponsors, facilitating decisions, managing schedules and registers, and guiding the organisation through meaningful change. You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, bringing judgement, steadiness and credibility to complex, people-centric change.
About the Team
These roles sit within the Enterprise Transformation division, which is responsible for delivering TAC's most significant strategic and transformation initiatives. The division brings together business, digital, change and delivery expertise to enable sustainable, enterprise-wide outcomes that optimise client experience, employee experience and community impact.
You will work in a collaborative, outcomes-focused environment alongside experienced Program Managers, Change specialists and other delivery experts. The culture is built on trust, accountability and curiosity, with leaders empowered to own their delivery while partnering closely across the organisation to achieve shared outcomes.
What we're looking for
Business Transformation Project Leadership
You bring 5–10 years' experience delivering complex business transformation initiatives, with demonstrated success leading transformation programs.
You hold formal project management qualifications and have a strong foundation in structured delivery approaches, ensuring initiatives are well-governed, outcomes-focused and aligned to strategy.
Experience in the insurance, health and disability or government sector is highly desirable.
Confident Delivery Professional with Sound Judgement
You combine strong planning discipline with practical, hands-on delivery. You are comfortable managing schedules, dependencies, risks and governance, while providing confidence and stability to senior leaders navigating complex change.
Trusted Stakeholder Partner
You excel at engaging senior leaders, sponsors and diverse stakeholder groups. With strong communication and influencing skills, you build trust quickly, manage interdependencies effectively and bring people on the journey to deliver shared outcomes.
