Stoddart Group are a leading supplier and installer of products to the residential building industry. This role is part of our Sales division and works closely with new and existing customers to ensure we're an efficient and valuable part of their build.
Stoddart Group is on the hunt for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager, who is proactive, and at the forefront of driving our growth and expansion. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships within the fast-paced and rewarding residential building & construction sector. This role will require someone who has a strategic mindset, strong business acumen and the ability to drive growth and achieve targets across all our products in the Northern NSW region. Thriving under pressure, adaptability to changing circumstances and exhibiting a high level of resilience is part of your genetic makeup.
Duties of the role include (but certainly are not limited to):
* Identify and target new business opportunities and markets.
* Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and achieve business goals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
* Conduct market research and analysis to understand trends, competition, and client needs.
* Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
* Negotiate schedule of rates and agreements with clients.
* Monitor and report on sales performance and business development metrics.
Ideal candidate attributes:
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of residential building market dynamics and industry trends.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong understanding of a supply and installation business
* Ability to travel intrastate
