Leading the Operational Excellence of Water Treatment and Desalination Projects
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to oversee the operational management and technical development of water treatment and desalination projects across multiple contracts in the region.
This role will ensure optimal performance and long-term sustainability of our facilities by overseeing day-to-day O&M activities, developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, and monitoring plant performance to optimise operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the execution of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance plant performance and reduce downtime.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements for water treatment and desalination operations.
* Mentoring junior engineers to support their professional growth and contribute to team development.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require strong leadership and technical skills, including:
* Proven experience in O&M engineering, preferably in water treatment and desalination industries.
* Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, plant performance monitoring, and process improvement techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Relevant degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
