About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking TA / Yard Person to join our team at JG Diesel Pty Ltd in Mackay, Queensland. This full-time role will involve a variety of general duties to support the efficient operation of our busy workshop and yard.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting mechanics and fitters with workshop tasks as required
* Maintaining a tidy and organised workshop and yard area
* Controlling all logistics within the buisness
* Ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
* Providing general support and assistance to the wider team
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar labourer or yard person role, ideally within the automotive or heavy machinery industry
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
* Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
* A team-oriented approach and willingness to support others
* A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
* MR Licence required
