Advanced Cyber Security Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Advanced Cyber Security Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security standards and playbooks that ensure the integrity of our systems.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures to protect against advanced persistent threats
* Implement and evaluate new security tools and practices to stay ahead of emerging threats
* Analyze and improve our existing security posture through threat modeling and risk management frameworks
* Lead incident response efforts to identify, contain, and remediate security threats and cyber attacks
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive threat modelling, table top exercises, and other SecOps practices
* Develop learning and development materials to enhance the skills of our team members
* Publish thought leadership pieces to advance our understanding of cyber security best practices
* Exceptional academic record in Computer Science or STEM field
* Drive and a track record of exceeding expectations
* Deep personal motivation to stay at the forefront of technology security
* Expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks
* Knowledge of security architecture and market-leading security tools
* Experience contributing to and consuming threat intelligence feeds
* Experience with security standards such as ISO 27001
* Experience in a security operations team or a security operations centre (SOC)
* Hands-on experience with state-actor and other advanced persistent threats
