YMH is a leading builder of modular dwellings and commercial buildings servicing the Lifestyle, Tourism and Commercial sectors. With facilities in both Mulwala NSW and Bendigo VIC, all our modular buildings are designed and built to the very highest standards with a true focus on quality.
Due to consistent workflow and an ever expanding pipeline, we are seeking two qualified carpenters to join our team. The positions are full-time, with substantial travel required as part of the role. You will need to be a confident, detail-oriented individual who is solution focused and ready to thrive in a busy setting. Qualifications/Requirements
* A carpentry trade qualification with a minimum of 4 years carpentryexperience
* ConstructionInduction Card (White card)
* CurrentDrivers Licence
* Yourown tools (vehicle to travel from site to site is provided)
Skills required
* Theability to travel & stay overnight, as required.
* Experienceand ability to interpret plans, specifications, and colour selectiondocuments.
* Experienceworking with prefabricated steel frames (desirable but not essential).
* Physicallyfit and able to perform the physical requirements of the role.
* Comprehensiveknowledge of building methods, processes, and materials.
* Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
* Provenorganisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloadseffectively.
* Abilityto follow and drive for procedure improvements & efficiencies.
* Apositive and solution driven mindset.

Responsibilities
* Takepride in the quality of workmanship.
* Ensurecompliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, andall Occupational Health & Safety requirements met at all times.
* Maintainclean and organised work areas.
* Provideguidance and support to apprentices when required.
* Collaboratewith other tradespeople on construction projects.
* Completeall building activities with regard to minimising waste or damage tomaterials and ensuring the return of any excess material.
* Inspectproducts and/or materials for conformity to operating standards prior toutilisation.
* Organisematerials, equipment, and other resources to timely and efficientlycomplete construction activities.
* Completeappropriate documentation and accurate recording of time and materials andutilise technology to ensure proper reporting.
* Ensurethe safeguarding of YMH property including tools, consumables, machineryand vehicles from theft or damage.
* Completenon-trade or administration activities as directed and ensureadministrative processes are not impaired.
* Applytime management skills to ensure work is completed to time requirementsand production schedules.
Remuneration
* $40to $45 per hour plus superannuation
