About the Role
The company seeks a dedicated WHS Business Partner to cultivate a strong safety culture and play a crucial role in risk management, training, and incident prevention strategies.
This position involves collaborating to develop and implement safety initiatives that align with business objectives. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert guidance to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, conduct risk assessments and audits, and lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
* Work closely with client groups to develop and implement strategies that align with business strategic objectives
* Provide expert advice and support to ensure compliance with all WHS legislation and regulations
* Collaborate with teams across multiple sites to ensure consistency and efficiency in safety practices
* Identify, assess and manage WHS risks through regular audits and assessments
* Lead incident investigations to uncover root causes and ensure lessons learnt are implemented
* Monitor the progress of corrective actions to enhance safety outcomes
* Deliver targeted WHS training
* Coach safety leaders to strengthen their capabilities
* Foster a proactive safety culture by engaging employees in safety initiatives and promoting awareness through effective communication materials
