Overview
Consultant/Advisor - Evaluation, Assurance and Review. Our Consulting team is seeking an Advisor/Consultant/APS5/6 level team member to join the team. Our Consulting group works closely with government clients to evaluate and provide recommendations on complex programs across the social services, health, environment, industry, defence and infrastructure portfolios. We leverage deep expertise and proven methodologies to evaluate, review and report on program outcomes and performance. Effective evaluation enables our clients to ensure policy outcomes and value for money for the Australian public is delivered.

Responsibilities
- Data and information analysis, along with synthesising findings
- Engaging with government and community stakeholders
- Coordinating and facilitating meetings and discussions
- Providing project support: coordinate and summarise meeting actions, track progress/issues, and prepare status reports
- Writing client documents including draft reports, briefings, policies, and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with government policies, guidelines, legislation and regulatory frameworks

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
- 2+ years’ experience, preferably within a government environment or in a consulting capacity
- Demonstrated experience or understanding of evaluation, assurance and review frameworks in the government context
- An understanding of the application of government policies, guidelines, legislation and regulatory frameworks
- High-level analysis skills
- Stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills
- Desire to work closely with clients, being adaptable and responsive
- Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
