About Centrecare
Centrecare is a not-for-profit organisation with over 300 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation and training services in over 11 locations across the Perth metropolitan, Goldfields and South West regions.
The Role
Under the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care model, this program focuses on delivering quality mental health and therapy services for disadvantaged, vulnerable, or hard-to-reach individuals who have, or are at risk of, a mental health condition throughout the Goldfields region.
A Few Specifics
* Conduct comprehensive client assessments to inform the development of a case plan or appropriate referrals according to the clients' identified needs.
* Assess supports and ensure they are appropriate to meet clients' needs.
* Refer and assist clients to access appropriate mainstream specialist services and support groups.
* Respond appropriately to clients in crisis.
* Facilitate groups as required.
Selection Criteria
* Provisionally/registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Nurse - all registered with AHPRA.
* Minimum 3 years of counselling experience.
* Social Worker - eligible for ASWA registration.
* Experience in short-term therapy with individuals, couples, and families.
* Relevant experience working with children and families with complex needs.
* Demonstrated experience in intake and assessment.
* Knowledge and experience in early intervention and prevention program services.
* Highly developed clinical skills and knowledge.
* Strong professional boundaries.
* Driver's license.
* National Police Clearance (12-month validity).
* Working With Children Check or eligibility to apply.
