Join Riverton Hospital as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager/Infection Control Lead, where you'll contribute to high-quality patient care while leading infection prevention initiatives that support safe, effective healthcare delivery.
About the Role
These permanent part‐time opportunities combine two rewarding functions:
Support clinical leadership and the delivery of high‐quality nursing care, contribute to team coordination, mentor staff, and support day‐to‐day service delivery and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities:
Lead the hospital's Infection Control Service, providing advice, monitoring compliance, managing surveillance and audits, coordinating outbreak responses, and delivering education to support best practice infection prevention.
What You'll Bring
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, with a practising certificate
* Experience in nursing leadership and infection prevention and control
* Postgraduate qualifications in infection control, or willingness to undertake further study
* Strong leadership, communication and education skills
* Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement
