Ocean Grove Bowling Club (OGBC) is a thriving, community-focused destination undergoing significant growth across bowls, events, hospitality, and major partnerships. With our world-class Dome facility, expanded community programs, and the upcoming 2026 World Bowls Indoor Championship, OGBC is positioned as one of the region's most dynamic sporting and hospitality venues.
We are now seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Partnerships Manager to lead our partnership strategy across OGBC's diverse brand portfolio—spanning the Ocean Grove Bowling Club masterbrand, the Geelong Jets BPL franchise, and the Grovers VBL franchise, to grow commercial opportunities and elevate our reach across the Bellarine, Geelong, and wider Victorian communities.
About the Role
Reporting to the GM Partnerships and Programs, the Partnerships Manager will play a key role in developing, managing, and activating strategic partnerships aligned to OGBC's vision of creating memorable experiences and competing with the nation's best.
This role suits an energetic, organised, and commercially minded professional who thrives on building relationships, creating mutually beneficial outcomes, and representing a values-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute OGBC's partnerships strategy
* Identify, negotiate, and secure new partnership opportunities across sport, business, tourism, and community
* Manage and grow existing partnerships, ensuring strong retention and high-value engagement
* Develop tailored partnership proposals, packages, and presentations
* Coordinate partner benefits including signage, events, digital content, networking experiences, and community activations
* Deliver integrated partner campaigns
* Provide reporting, insights, and performance summaries to partners demonstrating a return on investment
* Represent OGBC professionally at events, networking functions, and stakeholder meetings
About You
* Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with businesses, community groups, and sporting organisations
* Commercial mindset with experience in sponsorship, partnerships, marketing, or business development
* Experience leveraging social media to enhance partnership visibility, tell compelling brand stories, and strengthen engagement across OGBC, Geelong Jets, and Grovers audiences
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely outcomes
* Proactive, community-minded, and aligned with OGBC's values
* Experience in sporting, sales, tourism, or community industries is recommended
