What you will be doing and delivering
- The Production Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and automation systems and keeping operations running smoothly. This role supports equipment reliability, minimises downtime, and supports production performance across the site.
- Combine technical know-how with a proactive approach to maintenance, working across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
- Partner with production teams, support recent equipment installations, and drive improvements that enhance performance, reliability, and safety.
- Support project work and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, training and teamwork.
What you will bring to the role
- Take ownership of preventative and breakdown maintenance across a range of mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Troubleshoot and support PLC-based systems (Allen-Bradley/Siemens) and assist with robotic and automated equipment.
- Keep maintenance systems up to date — from managing spare parts to maintaining accurate records and asset registers.
- Play a key role in installing, commissioning, and optimising new machinery and plant upgrades in partnership with production teams.
- Share your expertise by training and coaching staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement by contributing ideas and solutions to boost equipment performance and reliability.
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance and managing external contractors when required.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
