OurBupa Dental Caringbah is well known foritscosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. The Opportunity
We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at ourCaringbah, NSW for a dedicatedAssistant Practice Managerseekingpermanent full-time work:
* Supporting the Practice Manager in coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
* Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
* Contribute to and assist in facilitating regular team meetings
* Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
* General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
* In the absence of the Practice Manager you will be required to step into the role of Acting Practice Manager
* Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
You'll be:
* Relied on for your strong leadership and administrative skills, and no prior dental experience is needed
* Willing to learn dental operations and grow within the role
* Experienced in business and people management
* Able to demonstrate excellent organisational, administrative, and time-management abilities
* Skilled in communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service
* Capable of understanding financial performance, including generating income and managing costs
* Confident in handling challenging conversations and resolving issues promptly
* Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of people, from dentists and patients to practice teams
* Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong business acumen
