About The Role
The Channel Account Executive is responsible for delivering a strong channel strategy across CSP in ANZ, encompassing Distributors, Value Added Resellers and Managed Service Providers for Data Security. This is a targeted role that ensures that business initiatives are tailored to optimizing the Partner Program. The role interfaces with channel partners and their senior management across ANZ, with a strong emphasis on working with Government and Indigenous partners; experience in these areas will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities
Develop and manage a robust and creative channel strategy for ANZ
Develop and drive engagement through successful relationships with key channel partners at senior management level
Lead the development of territory channel plans with local sales teams, with concrete action plans and regular reviews
Drive Channel best practice and facilitate its deployment across ANZ, while remaining sensitive to local specifics
Plan and develop channel go-to-market strategies and execute marketing initiatives to deliver on the strategy
Lead the design, optimization, and implementation of the Partner Program across ANZ
Enable the partner community to sell Thales solutions from the CSP portfolio, focusing on incremental business and service delivery
Evaluate and recommend channel metrics to measure performance, including revenue, pipeline growth, incremental business, product mix, and certified resources
Present ANZ Sales Channel performance and business results through regular communication, forecasts, agendas, and reports
About You
Along with experience in consulting and sales, you will demonstrate:
Sound understanding of the Channel ecosystem in ANZ, particularly in Federal government and Indigenous partners
Experience developing and presenting channel strategies
Proven cross-functional partnership to drive outcomes within internal organizations
Strong business planning skills and proven ability to execute and deliver a defined plan
Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate purpose and value proposition
Track record of delivering sales results in a fast-paced environment
Experience in security, networking or infrastructure
Exceptional customer focus
High level of integrity, good judgment, and independent decision making
