About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Control Systems Engineer to join this dynamic consultancy. The role involves the full lifecycle of control systems engineering – from design and programming through to commissioning and support – across a variety of critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, development, and implementation of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Participate in system architecture design and documentation
- Troubleshoot and optimise control systems for reliability and performance
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders across the water, mining, or energy sectors
- On-site commissioning and occasional travel as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering (or related discipline)
- Demonstrated experience in control systems engineering within the water, mining, or energy industries
- Hands-on experience with major automation platforms such as Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, or GE
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full working rights in Australia
