**About the role**:
As a Mining Surveyor or Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all field and office survey work conducted by yourself is completed to a high standard and is in compliance with company standards and legislation.
- Providing assistance with any technical survey issues relating to your work and projects.
- Providing timely and accurate survey work to assist with optimising production and supporting the client's operational needs.
- Maintaining any necessary surveying standards for your work and projects and assisting with drafting site specific standards if required.
**About you**:
Experience is important, but our highest priority is finding the right fit for the role to deliver high quality work. Ideally you will have:
- At least 12 months' underground or open pit mining experience
- Proficiency in mining software such as Surpac, Autocad, Deswik, Vulcan, Magnet or 12D
- Proficiency with Leica and Trimble survey equipment
- Additional qualifications or registration - highly regarded
- Great technical and time management skills
- Good communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude
- A valid driver's license and the right to work in Australia
