The Asset Manager will be responsible for maximizing the financial and operational performance of utility‐scale renewable energy assets (solar, wind, and/or storage). This role involves overseeing day‐to‐day operations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, managing stakeholder relationships, and implementing strategies to optimize asset value throughout its lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Oversight: Monitor and analyze plant performance against KPIs and contractual guarantees; coordinate with O&M providers to ensure optimal availability and reliability; manage corrective and preventive maintenance schedules; prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; track revenue streams, expenses, and variances against budget; support forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling for asset portfolios.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and environmental standards; manage insurance claims and risk mitigation strategies; oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for investors, lenders, and off‐takers; manage contractual obligations under PPAs, financing agreements, and service contracts; prepare and deliver performance reports to stakeholders; identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost reduction; implement asset optimization strategies, including technology upgrades and efficiency improvements; support repowering or life‐extension initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
* Experience: 5+ years in asset management, operations, or financial management within renewable energy or power generation; experience with utility‐scale solar, wind, or storage projects.
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and performance metrics; proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems).
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities.
