Library Information & Programs Officer
Tenterfield Shire Council is looking for a full-time Library Information & Programs Officer, based in Tenterfield, NSW. Reporting to the Librarian, you'll support daily library operations and lead the development and delivery of community-facing programs that serve children, youth, seniors, and lifelong learners.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining library resources and systems using Libero LMS
* Assisting with circulation, inter-library loans, reference, and branch exchanges
* Delivering excellent customer service across a diverse community
* Developing and delivering programs for children, youth, and seniors
* Contributing to the planning, promotion, and evaluation of community programs
* Assisting with grant applications, reporting, and financial administration
* Managing data collection and research for library reporting and funding
* Supporting Home Library Services and mobile library deliveries to remote areas
* Participating in acquisitions planning and service improvement initiatives
* Undertaking general library duties including cataloguing, shelving, and admin

Qualifications and experience
* Demonstrated experience working in a library or closely related setting
* Certificate IV in Library and Information Services (or willingness to obtain)
* A valid NSW Working with Children Check
* A NSW Class C Driver's Licence (essential for branch delivery and outreach work)
Additionally, the following skills, background and checks are highly valued:
* Experience with Libero Library Management System
* Background in program design, delivery, and evaluation
* Previous leadership or team coordination experience
* Familiarity with grant funding, reporting, and acquittals
* Ability to work with stakeholders across all age groups and backgrounds
You'll be tech-savvy, confident using a range of digital platforms, and able to support programs, reporting, and community engagement through effective use of library technologies and software. You'll also bring strong skills in research, data collection, and analytics to support evidence-based programming and funding applications.

Benefits
* Salary range of $70,000 – $80,500 p.a. + 12% Super
