Direct Support Worker – Hervey Bay
Work on a flexible 24/7 roster in Hervey Bay. Open to experienced and entry‐level candidates. CPL support workers now covered by SCHADS.
Responsibilities
* Providing personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing and more.
* Administering medications.
* Transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility.
* Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation.
* Community engagement, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping or other social and recreational activities of clients' choice.
Qualifications and Commitments
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
* A Blue Card (Working with Children Card).
* An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card).
* Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed.
* Driver's License and vehicle.
* A smartphone with iOS 13.0+ or Android 6.0+ operating system.

* Flexibility to work varied shift times between 6 am–10 pm and overnights.
