Overview
We have an exciting and diverse opportunity for a Rehabilitation Consultant from an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Psychologist discipline to join our growing team on a Contractor basis. To be successful in this role, you must have your own proprietary limited ABN.
You will be assisting individuals to recover from injury and return to work through a client-centered approach, focusing on health and well-being. You'll be managing a portfolio of cases including Workers Compensation, MAIB and Workplace Health & Safety Assessments.
Responsibilities
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you are an integral piece of someone's recovery, you support them through their rehab journey and guide them through the process.
Assisting individuals to recover from injury and return to work through a client-centered approach, focusing on health and wellbeing.
Managing a portfolio of cases including Workcover TAS and MAIB claims.
Undertake assessments such as initial needs assessments, worksite assessments, and vocational assessments.
Collaborate and liaise with employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work.
Document case notes as part of your reporting, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clients.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
Establish and uphold a standard of excellence while driving regional growth
The role will suit someone who can build and maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
About you

At least 3 year of Occupational Rehabilitation Consulting experience
Workcover TAS Legislative knowledge.
Injury Management Coordinator (IMC) Registration with WorkSafe Tasmania qualification preferred but not essential
You must hold the same values as us You must hold a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Rehab Counselling or Psychology, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiologist
AHPRA/ASORC/ESSA accreditation and have a passion for helping people
Hold a full driver\'s license and access to own car
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
