As a contract psychologist, you will enjoy autonomy while also being part of a team that values compassion, inclusivity, and evidence-based care.
What You Will Be Doing
Therapy and Intervention:Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, PCIT, CPS, and PBS.
Assessment and Reporting:Deliver psychological and diagnostic assessments (including ADHD, Autism, cognitive/IQ, learning, gifted and talented, behavioural, and mental health assessments), incorporating interviews, psychometric testing, report writing, and feedback sessions with clients and relevant third parties.
Caseload Management:Manage your own caseload while balancing clinical work with ethical and timely record-keeping.
Collaboration and Professional Growth: Communicate effectively with GPs and other professionals and participate in peer consultation and professional development discussions that will keep you supported and inspired.
What We Are Looking For
* Full AHPRA registration as a psychologist.
* Confidence and proficiency in evidence-based therapies and assessment tools.
* Strong clinical skills, including assessment and clear report writing.
* A warm, compassionate, and dynamic approach that builds strong client rapport.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
