Job Description:
As a versatile and skilled Multipurpose Labourer, you will provide exceptional service in the upkeep and maintenance of public infrastructure across various areas, including roads, drainage systems, footpaths, signage, and pavement markings.
The role entails a range of tasks that require a high level of skill and attention to detail. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Conducting general labouring duties, such as reading and interpreting traffic guidance schemes, setting up traffic control services, and assisting with site preparations.
* Reading and analyzing construction plans to ensure accuracy and carrying out ongoing checks to guarantee compliance.
* Participating in the repair of potholes and edge wear using bitumen patching techniques and products.
* Contributing to concrete works, including site preparation, pouring, placement, and finishing.
* Operating and maintaining small plant and hand tools safely and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
* Class C Driver Licence
* Accredited certificate for Traffic Controller from SafeWork
* Accredited certificate for Implementing Traffic Control Plans from SafeWork
