We are seeking a skilled chemist to reformulate and improve existing formulas, optimizing their performance and efficiency.
Laboratory skills will be applied to prepare lab-scale batches for development, sampling, and testing, ensuring accurate results.
A critical thinker with strong analytical skills is required to write and review product specifications, master formulas, and manufacturing instructions, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience liaising with third-party regulators, such as Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) and Therapeutic Goods Australia (TGA), to ensure product compliance.
Detailed knowledge of raw materials and finished products is essential to verify quality and safety through thorough testing.
An up-to-date understanding of GHS and regulatory requirements is necessary to update Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Conduct standard laboratory tests, including Specific Gravity (SG), pH measurements, and viscosity checks, as required.
Accurate recording and reporting of results, along with precise documentation, are key responsibilities of this role.
Maintaining laboratory cleanliness, safety standards, inventory, and documentation, adhering to best practices, is also a requirement.
