The Role
Reporting to the CEO/Managing Director, the National Sales Manager will:
* Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with business objectives and production capacity.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across Australia in contract manufacturing (complementary medicines, nutraceuticals, wellness).
* Lead and mentor Business Development Managers and Account Managers, building a high-performing sales team.
* Manage key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to meet profitability and compliance objectives.
* Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Provide market insights and accurate demand forecasts to support strategic planning.
* Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry forums.
About You
We\'re looking for a commercially savvy leader with a track record of success in B2B sales within contract manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, or wellness sectors.
You Will Bring
* Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA desirable).
* 7+ years\' experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management in a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Proven success in securing and managing national accounts.
* Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
* Knowledge of GMP, TGA, and industry quality standards.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
* Leadership experience coaching and developing sales teams.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to balance client needs with operational capacity and profitability.
