**Job Opportunity: Experienced Cook Wanted**

We strive to provide our customers with delicious, healthy meals using only the freshest local produce. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our highly talented team at our Gympie location.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Cooking, baking, and grilling meats and vegetables according to precise recipes.
* Cooking meals according to dietary requirements of patrons, including those with food allergies.
* Receiving and storing stock in a clean, temperature-controlled facility.
* Demonstrating safe work practices and adhering to Workplace Health and Safety regulations by cleaning and tidying the restaurant and kitchen using sanitizers, bleach, hot water, soap liquids, etc.
* Checking ingredients used for cooking against recipe guidelines and ensuring their quality.
* Washing, cutting, peeling ingredients including vegetables and meats for preparing cuisines.
* Organizing cooked meals in platters with good presentation and proper proportion.
* Using proper knife handling techniques and cutting techniques for fruit, vegetables, and meats suitable for the style of cuisine.
* Assisting chefs in planning and designing menus.
* Performing other activities such as training kitchen staff.
* Seasoning, marinating, roasting, and baking food according to recipes.
* Stirring and mixing for making various sauces for marinating and preparing dishes.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
* Hold a Certificate IV in a relevant field.
* Have at least 1 year of experience working in a busy restaurant environment.
* Exhibit a friendly, positive, and approachable attitude.
* Be energetic and motivated.
* Able to work effectively under pressure.
**Salary and Benefits:** $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
