Financial Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Controller to join our organization. As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations, providing strategic support, and driving business growth.
* Financial Oversight: responsible for day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial reports, identifying areas for cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: lead and manage the annual operating budget, monitor actual performance against budget, maintain rolling forecasts to support cash flow management.
* Compliance and Risk Management: manage tax and statutory obligations, act as the main point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
* Inventory and Cost Management: oversee inventory accounting, stock valuations, stock takes, reconciliation processes, support job costing analysis, Bill of Materials costing, product profit analysis, capital project tracking, variance analysis.
* Strategic Support: provide input to business planning, participate in strategy sessions, conduct business case modeling, provide financial commentary and KPI reporting to management.
* Process Improvement: evaluate finance systems and processes, identify automation opportunities, lead the development and delivery of KPI and financial reporting enhancements.
* Team Leadership: lead, manage, coach, mentor, and develop the finance team, set clear team goals, foster a culture of accountability, and continuous improvement.
