Chef
We are eagerly seeking an experienced Chef to join our team. You must have at least 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
General
* Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain HACCP and cleaning standards.
* Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Resort premises.
* Ensure communication and actions are always professional.
* Obtain a Food Safety Certificate and when required a Food Supervisor's Certificate.
Kitchen
* Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
* Ensure the kitchen and equipment is clean on a daily basis.
* Maintain your own delegated place in the kitchen and assist other chefs when required.
* Planning and taking part in promotional events.
* Diffusing tense situations between patrons or staff members.
* Create regular menus to suit the clientele.
* Manage and participate in the catering requirements of the bus and function groups.
* Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
* Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste when working.
* Study each recipe and ensure you have all necessary ingredients.
* Cook food in a timely manner for the restaurant.
* Inform wait staff about daily specials.
* Ensure appealing plate presentation.
* Monitor food stock and place orders when required.
* Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
* Suggest new recipes ingredients in consultation other chefs.
The successful applicant will receive a remuneration of $74,000 - $80,000.
Hotel Receptionist
We are also seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our team.
We require an individual who is a strong brand ambassador and who presents a positive and warm first impression for our guests and visitors. In addition to exceptional customer service capabilities, you will possess highly effective administrative skills for groups, functions, data entry and other office functions inclusive of invoicing and managing bookings.
This role requires a candidate who thrives in a high energy and fast-paced environment, who has a professional manner, and takes pride in maintaining an office environment to the highest standard.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in RMS (Property Management System) or similar system is essential for this role with a passion for working in hospitality.
* Experience managing a large volume of calls, multiple phone lines and emails with professional etiquette.
* The ability to build positive relationships with a high level of interpersonal skills.
* An ability to organise the front reception staff and tasks and show initiative.
* An understanding of the importance of the guest experience and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* The ability to efficiently manage guest complaints and achieve professional and positive outcomes while ensuring high standards of customer service.
* Ensure smooth and efficient check-in/check-out procedures.
* Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
* Maintain accurate daily cash reports and reconcile accounts.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels, in both oral and written forms.
* Expert level multi-tasking capabilities, without compromising on quality, in a fast-paced environment but also possess the ability to work autonomously.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail.
* Proficiency in handling and maintaining office equipment.
* Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and security to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
* Ability to train and motivate employees.
* An aptitude to learn and utilise software to increase effectiveness and efficiency within the workplace.
* Experience with office and supply management.
* Demonstrated sales experience will be viewed favourably.
To be considered for this role you need:
* At least 1 year's experience in hotel front receptionist roles including reservations, group bookings, room allocation, accounts and payment handling.
* Availability to work a rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and Public Holidays.
* Experience with RMS or similar hotel system.
* Customer Service Experience.
* Valid working rights in Australia.
* Have Australian National Police Clearance, no more than three months old.
This is a full time position. A remuneration package of $60,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
Restaurant Manager
We need a hardworking, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual who leads from the front to take charge of our busy and fast-paced restaurant and bar service. You will oversee restaurant operations, build a customer-focused team, and implement leading customer service standards. This key role aims to make us a benchmark-setting venue. Your passion for developing teams and embracing challenges is vital in ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities And Duties:
* Coordinate daily restaurant operations to deliver exceptional service.
* Manage day-to-day financials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Exceed customers' expectations by providing an outstanding dining experience and active participation while on duty.
* Ensure all food served is of excellent standard.
* Regular coaching, training and mentoring of staff to improve them and service standards fostering motivation and growth.
* Develop relationships with new and regular restaurant patrons.
* Coordinate daily/weekly updates with the reservations, functions and bus tour team.
* Manage bookings and balance seat capacity.
* Prepare the rostering for the restaurant and discuss with the Duty Manager.
* Cost control with a focus on labour.
* Managing customer feedback and reputation.
* Monitor and manage stock levels for optimal inventory control.
* Monitor and manage the cashier and upgrade H&L.
* Coordinate employee schedules to ensure efficient staffing.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain HACCP and cleaning standards.
* Participate regularly in management meetings and report to Duty Manager and Manager.
The successful applicant must have more than 3 years' experience in a similar role in a busy environment, and hold a RSA and Approved Manager's Certificate WA.
You'll also have:
* An Open Driver's Licence.
* Strong food & beverage knowledge.
* Previous experience with RMS platform, an advantage to be able to check after hours reservations.
* Strong leadership and people skills.
* An ability to think outside the square.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication with a great command of the English language (written and verbal).
* Knowledge of current liquor legislation.
* Hands on approach with a natural ability to lead a team to be the best they can.
The successful applicants will receive a remuneration between $71,000 - $80,000.
