YOUR NEW ROLE
As the valued right hand to an industry-leading specialist partner supported by a paralegal, you will love resolving a full spectrum of intellectually stimulating +interesting disputes (Superior Courts & Land & Environment Courts) relating to :
* all aspects of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related legislation;
* development applications (Das), complying Das and exempt development.
* applications to amend LEPs and planning proposals;
* voluntary planning agreements and developer contributions.
* easements and access to land ;
* land contamination, pollution, remediation and voluntary management proposals.
* directors’ duties and liabilities under planning and environment regulations.
* critical habitat and the operation of threatened species conservation legislation.
* site and environmental audits, due diligence and environmental impact assessment.
* regulatory compliance and enforcement.
* Land and Environment Court Applications and Appeals.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you :
* are admitted as a solicitor in NSW;
* have minimum 2 yrs or more (up to senior associate) hands‑on environmental / planning / local government law litigation experience (essential) preferably acting for applicants (ie developers / private entities);
* have strong communication, research, negotiation, advocacy and client management skills;
* are practical, adaptable, commercial, dead‑line driven and results‑oriented;
