Opportunity
The Lecturer (Education‐Focused) in the School of Educational Psychology and Inclusion will contribute to the teaching and delivery of content across the psychology programmes, drawing on their professional and academic expertise. The role includes preparing and delivering lectures and seminars, developing course materials, supervising 5th‐ and 6th‐year students, and potential involvement in student‐led interventions within the Krongold Clinic.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate units and placement activities.
* Mark and assess student work.
* Supervise students in clinical and placement settings.
* Contribute to collaborative teaching initiatives.
* Engage in educational scholarship, including curriculum enhancement and evaluation of teaching impact.
* Disseminate research through publications or conferences.
* Participate in broader academic service and administrative activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Advanced qualifications and/or significant professional experience in psychology; a doctoral qualification or equivalent expected.
* Registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor.
* Demonstrated record of scholarly and/or professional achievement across teaching, research, and/or practice.
* Excellence in teaching and supervision within psychology.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
* Commitment to academic leadership and educational innovation, a strong scholarship record, and experience mentoring provisional psychologists.
* Ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and contribute meaningfully to teaching, service, and broader university and community engagement.
