About the Role:
Make a real impact supporting young people experiencing early psychosis.
Join our Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT) and deliver high‑quality triage, assessment, crisis intervention and home‑based support to young people aged 12–25 experiencing early psychosis. You'll work in a fast‑paced, extended‑hours service as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing responsive, evidence‑based care and strengthening pathways across headspace, GPs and mental health services. The role also includes community engagement, maintaining high‑quality clinical documentation, and ongoing professional development within a supportive Early Psychosis Program
Experience Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
* Clinical experience of the assessment and effective management of younger people experiencing an acute psychosis and crisis services.
* Experience of working in an acute mental health setting.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
Applicants must hold qualifications in one of the following disciplines:
* Psychology - registration with AHPRA
* Social Work – with Mental Health Accreditation through the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Occupational Therapy – with Mental Health Endorsement recognised by Occupational Therapy Australia
* Clinical Psychology
* Nursing – must be a Registered Nurse with Credentialed Mental Health Nurse status through the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
* Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
* Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
* Current Driver's Licence
