Production & warehouse coordinator

Offer description

To coordinate production and logistics operations.

Core objectives include:

1. Warehouse Operations Management


• Oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.


• Maintain accurate inventory levels using inventory management systems.


• Ensure efficient space utilization and layout planning.


• Monitor incoming stock for accuracy and quality.


• Implement and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.


• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight logistics.

1. Production & Printing Oversight


• Manage in-house printing (vinyl heat press, DTF/DTG, Supacolour transfers etc.).


• Schedule and prioritize production jobs to meet order deadlines.


• Ensure correct setup of machines and oversee maintenance schedules.


• Monitor production quality, output, and consistency.


• Troubleshoot production issues quickly to minimize downtime.


• Keep inventory levels of supplies and submit items for purchase as needed.

3. Team Management


• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff.


• Develop SOPs for efficiency and consistency across teams.


• Create shift schedules and manage workloads.


• Motivate staff, enforce discipline, and encourage a positive team culture.

1. Process Improvement, Quality Control & Compliance


• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement improvements.


• Work closely with sales team to align timelines and manage expectations.


• Ensure products meet brand standards and client requirements.


• Enforce occupational health and safety, and industry-specific compliance policies.

Qualifications

· Nil; all training provided.

Experience

· Proven experience in a team leader role with the ability to communicate with several parties and coordinate multiple deadlines.

· Experience in the apparel industry highly desirable.

Knowledge

· Knowledge of production management is desired but not essential .

· Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.

· Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
