Technology Lawyer
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced technology lawyer to support commercial contracting and privacy compliance. The ideal candidate will negotiate agreements with enterprise customers and partners, provide legal advice to business departments, and manage employment-related issues.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate commercial contracts, including master services agreements and vendor agreements.
Assist sales and partnership teams with new opportunities and deal structuring.
Provide strategic legal advice to enable business growth while managing risk.
Partner with people team to advise on employment-related issues across APAC.
Provide support on employment documentation, policies, and regional employee relations.
Support ongoing corporate governance and entity management across APAC subsidiaries.
Act as go-to legal advisor for all legal matters within APAC region.
Liaise with global legal and other colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment.
Manage relationships and work with external counsel and vendors where needed.
Qualifications:
5-7 years' experience working as legal counsel in a global technology company.
Experience with SaaS sales and commercial contracts and licensing.
Experience with data privacy, AI compliance, and data mapping.
Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
Familiarity with employment law, data privacy law, and/or corporate governance matters.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work highly independently and handle competing priorities.
Knowledge of regulations and best practices impacting data governance, data management, and artificial intelligence.
