Overview
San Clemente Catholic College Mayfield is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Secondary Music Teacher to join our team from January 2026. Located in Mayfield, the college is a Catholic school in the Dominican tradition, preparing to introduce Stage 6 in 2026 and expanding our curriculum and programs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality music education as part of a growing secondary program for Years 7–12 (as Stage 6 is introduced).
- Contribute to a culture of creativity, excellence, and continuous improvement in the school environment.
- Engage with students, families, and staff to support pastoral care, wellbeing, and student development.
Experience / Criteria
- Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school. For Primary or Religion Teaching positions you must also be Catholic.
- Ability to plan and prepare contemporary and compliant teaching programs and assessments in nominated areas, addressing diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Demonstrated ability to use assessment and school data to optimise educational outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with school staff and the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
- An innovative and agile mindset that supports a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stage 6 teaching experience (desirable).
- Qualifications and willingness to teach in an additional subject area (desirable).
Qualifications
- Four-year trained teacher qualification
- Active NESA Accreditation
- Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Completion of anaphylaxis training
- Completion of CPR training
